Wheelchair Rugby is a team sport for male and female quadriplegics. It is a unique sport created by athletes with a disability that combines some elements of Basketball, Rugby and Ice Hockey

London Wheelchair Rugby Club, a registered charity of England & Wales works to promote the sport of wheelchair rugby to adults and children (16 years +) with a physical disability (Spinal Cord Injury) and upper limb impartment to London and the South of England.

In September 2001 a group tetraplegics got together and decided to form the North East's first wheelchair rugby club calling ourselves 'The Bulls WRC'. Wheelchair Rugby, or Murderball, is the fastes growing wheelchair sport and is the only full contact quad sport in the world
